Nobody remembers who they belonged to.
That may be the point.
Bones of the Forgotten are unidentified remains recovered from places where they probably should have been left alone. Their age, species and original owner remain unknown, and no surviving record has been found that explains exactly how they came to be in the Cabinet.
Some say they belonged to an ancient creature. Others insist they are human. One particularly unhelpful catalogue entry simply reads:
"Found somewhere old. Felt important. Took them home."
Whatever their origin, they have become one of the Cabinet's most mysterious collections of remains.
Each piece is handcrafted from polymer clay and preserved as a miniature specimen for display.
